The DFID Markets for Development programme supports pro-poor business growth that is socially and environmentally responsible. CoSustain provided support to the programme to develop a sustainability strategy and conducted two market studies for the waste to wealth and renewable energy sectors. Work involved field trips, brokering partnerships and identifying pilot projects, some of which are being implemented.
