DEG: Gender lens investing training for investment officers
DEG as founding members of 2X Global were keen to train their investment staff on gender lens investing. They reached out to CoSustain Consulting based on our work to develop a 2X Global modular training programme for investment practitioners.
DEG wanted to deliver training to its investment staff and were seeking trainers with gender lens investing experience. The training had to be relevant to the day-to-day work of the investment officers and teams, convincing them of the business and impact case, and provide practical tools and resources.
Context
We were known to DEG through our work with 2X Global including our role in developing the modular training programme. As 2X Global members DEG had access to the modular training programme; we helped them to tailor and deliver it to their staff.
Approach
In 2022 we delivered two in-person training sessions to DEG’s investment teams, thematic experts and other team members, across sectors. We were asked to re-run the training virtually in 2023
